Great, homemade quality food.

It's very low key, quaint, and somewhat private. Food so far has been very tasty. The owners are friendly and nice.

This is my favorite kind of place down home quaint and the food is spectacular.

My quick hide away, when I'm going for a hair cut next door. It give me time to grab a sandwich and a cup of coffee. a great breakfast spot too.

My father, my 8 year old son, and I came here and I "THOUGHT" this place was excellent! As soon as you walk in it smells delicious, you get a total warm welcoming feeling, and the service was great. My father and I had the same thing, prosciutto and blue cheese sandwich on a croissant. Thank God my son had something different. LITERALLY 10 minutes later we went grocery shopping and my father and I got sick. We were taking turns in the bathroom of the grocery store at least 3-4 times each until we left. Then proceeded at home a few times more. My stomach was STILL bothering me the next day. Something in that sandwich was bad and they should of knew that. Will NEVER go back there!

The food here is probably some of the most fabulous food you can find in St cloud. The couple that own and run this restaurant are some of the nicest people I've ever met.

Fantastic restaurant ! The food is very healthy and wholesome and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The cafe is small and quaint. I would definitely come here again !

Held a private event at The Silver Lining Cafe and was very disappointed in the service. They did not have adequate help to serve 34 people. The owner and her husband were the cooks and servers. The tables were not bused, drinks were not refilled, the self serve coffee bar ran out of coffee and cups - no one to oversee if anything needed to be refilled. The food was not served in a timely manner - guests were waiting on food while others had finished. The owner was rude when we tried to discuss our displeasure. I would NEVER recommend this place.

Awesome food and such a sweet couple!

Do not eat here, total rip off! My son and I went there for lunch today. Got a small Cuban sandwich with a cup (literally served in a small coffee cup) of microwaved chicken soup, my 4 year old son got a 4 oz portion of pulled beef with 3 very tiny buns (i had to ask for more bread so he could make more sandwiches). Food was decent but there are no waitresses, so i had to pour my own sweet tea. Total bill, 19.50. And then when the guy at the register swiped my card on his cell phone he looked right at me and asked me to add a tip! I felt trapped so i added 2 dollars to the bill. Oh, and we were literally the only two in the restaurant the whole time we were there. That shouldve tipped me off, being it was the lunch time rush hour and we were the only patrons. My prediction, they will be closed soon.

Great place to eat

If you love literally home cooked food and don't want to cook this is the spot. The owners a wife and husband are awesome. We love ordering for here. Ohhhhh and I got dessert peanut butter something it was one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. No joke!!

Have been dining on the1st Weds of every month for the last 12yrs at the Silver Lining Cafe,many years New York Ave ( which I miss a lot ) & now Old canoe Creek Rd.The food at this cafe is fantastic never fails to surprise me.Don't know how Lynn can turn out such wonderful meals I guess she has great support from 'Other Half'. you can also take a Carry Out Tonight I enjoyed super Beef Barley soup & tomorrow I will enjoy her Artichoke Dip.Have never sent an empty plate back.

I had a pleasant experience. The owners were very inviting. I love the fact meals were made fresh, daily at the cafe. I didn't dining in but bought 2 snack bars & they were very delicious.

Great clean eating. I'm always full and satisfied after eating here. The flavors are so unique and fresh. Don't forget to get some frozen soup to go. Oh, and if you have to have desert, the Gooey butter bars are amazing!

This is a really nice cafe. I enjoy the different taste they offer.

The food is 4 and 5 star quality! As good or better then any fine dining restaurant I've ever been too. And I'm a foodie I've been to all the tip top places in central Florida. Love that the menu items change and ate fresh daily! Some favorites are the Dill Dip appetizer, the Gold coast brushetta appetizer, the pot roast, the Marco Island dinner with shrimp. The salads and homemade dressings are so good. This place is a gem of St. Cloud. I do miss their old location downtown. And the owners are the sweetest people and great to talk to if you get a chance.

This is a fabulous eatery; offerings are fresh, flavorful, and will appeal to just about every palate. The quiche crust is flaky and light, and seasonal fillings are always delicious. Salad greens are fresh and the homemade dressing is sublime. The subtly seasoned dill chicken apple salad is amazing, and the croissants are always fresh and flask. Desserts are lovely and decadent! The owners are warm and welcoming. This is a gem; don't miss it.

Great little find. This cafe was recommended to us by some St. Cloud locals. Great food. Let me warn you, this is a small cafe style place. No waiter. You order at the counter, pour your own coffee, tea, and water, and it is a small shop. It can also take some time to get your food as their was one cook. However, the food is wonderful. The pot roast is perfect and the soups are terrific. The pie and gooey brownies were fantastic. If you are trying this place out, be patient and order an appetizer!

Fantastic food at a good price! The place is run by the owners and they are great people who are delightful to talk with. Water and iced tea is self served, which is no issue since the pitchers are no more than 15 ft from any table and always full. My wife and I go here at least twice a week, if not more, and we always look forward to it.

Very authentic with a home feel cafe. Good for a sit down and relax from the day to day work. Non name brand and the food was amazing.
